Frequently Asked Questions
How do I determine the correct collar size
for my dog?
The best way to determine the correct collar size is to use a
tape measure to measure around your dog's neck at the point where
you want the collar to rest. You can also accomplish this by using
a piece of string and marking the length around your dog's neck
to measure later, or even lay your dog's current collar on a flat
surface and measure it's length. Of course, there is always guessing,
but the above methods are much more reliable.
Do you make custom collars?
Yes! If you don't see what you're looking for on the website,
please send me an email. Give me the details of what you are looking
for, whether it be a certain color, pattern, different hardware,
or even just an idea you have, and I will do my very best to accomodate
your requests.
If you need a smaller, larger, or in-between collar size for your
dog, I can do that, too! Custom sizes will be priced by the closest
larger standard size. For extra-large collars, add $.50 for every
six-inches of extra length.
For all custom requests, please send me an email at cynthia@morgancollars.com.
Do you make matching leashes for your collars?
Yes! Please allow an extra 3-5 days for leashes, as I usually
make those to order instead of having them pre-made. Standard
leashes are six (6) feet long (please email me for custom lengths)
and can be made into both 3/4-inch and 1-inch widths.
NOTE: Due to variations of fabric, not all leashes can be
made out of one continuous piece of material. Many leashes will
have one or two fabric splices along the length.
Where do I order?
At this time, Morgan Collars is under construction! To order
collars, please email Cynthia at cynthia@morgancollars.com
with the name of the print and the size you need. We'll make
sure you are taken care of as we work on the new website!
Do you make leather collars? Harnesses?
Cat collars?
Not yet. However, I have been exploring the possibilities for
new products, and I do hope to add more to my inventory in the
future. Keep checking in for updates!
